New for 2015 – The Lodge at Little Duck has added a GPS approach for flights coming into the Lodge at Little Duck. Whether you are a fisherman flying up during the summer season, or a hunter coming up in the fall for a caribou hunt, the GPS Approach adds yet another level of safety for flying in our part of the north country. The GPS Approach enables our pilots to use state of the art “instrument enhanced procedures” for landing in certain types of unstable weather or “low ceiling conditions”. We cannot stress enough the added safety this new addition will provide to our valued guests, staff and pilots.
